Terms and conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all quotations, agreements, and works carried out by CrocElectrical Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”) for you (“the Customer”). By accepting a quotation, you agree to these Terms.
1. Agreement of Works

By accepting a quotation from us, you enter into a binding agreement for the works specified in that quotation.

Acceptance of a quotation constitutes full agreement to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Quotations and Material Costs

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

Once accepted, any materials purchased specifically for your project become your financial responsibility.

If works do not proceed after acceptance, you remain liable for the cost of any materials already purchased.

3. Payment Terms​

Payment terms will be stated on your invoice.

Invoices must be paid in full by the due date unless alternative arrangements are agreed in writing before works commence.

Late payments may result in additional charges and, if necessary, legal action for recovery.
​
​
4. Warranty​
​

We provide a 12-month warranty on workmanship from the date of completion.
-
The warranty covers faults directly caused by our workmanship.
-
This warranty does not cover:
-
Normal wear and tear.
-
Misuse or incorrect operation of installed equipment.

Damage caused by external factors such as power surges, flooding, or tampering.

Repairs for accidental damage may be offered at a reduced rate at our discretion.

5. Cancellations​

Cancellations must be made in writing.

If you cancel after materials have been purchased, you remain liable for their cost.

If you cancel within 48 hours of the agreed start date, a cancellation fee may apply to cover lost work opportunities.

6. Liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss or damage unless directly caused by our negligence.

You are responsible for ensuring the work site is safe, accessible, and ready for works to be carried out.

7. Access and Site Readiness
​​

You must provide sufficient access to the premises and ensure the site is ready for works.

Delays due to lack of access or site readiness may incur additional charges.

8. Variations and Additional Work​
​

Any variations to the agreed works must be requested in writing and may result in additional charges.

Any unforeseen issues will be communicated promptly, and extra costs may apply if necessary.

9. Health & Safety
​​

All work will be carried out in accordance with UK health and safety regulations.

You must notify us of any known hazards on site before work begins.

10. Dispute Resolution
​​

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution amicably before taking legal action.

11. Governing Law
​​

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Amendments
​​

We may update these Terms at any time without prior notice.
